CLUBS IN ACTION
The mind, body and the soul are in total synchronization and benefit the most while pursuing a hobby. A hobby is a regular activity that is done for enjoyment, typically during one's leisure time. Hobbies can include collecting themed items and objects, engaging in creative and artistic pursuits, playing sports, or pursuing other amusements. An activity pursuing an activity in which you have inherent interest helps hidden talents to convert into a way of recreating oneself.. We at JKG offer varied hobby clubs from Kindergarten to Class XII. Keeping in mind each child's development and interests, each hobby is approached with enthusiasm and professionalism. Our clubs offer yoga, dramatics, blooming chef, performing arts, craft, sports and public activity.
Blooming Chef
It introduces the children to a healthy eating practice that encourage skill development so that they can appreciate healthy food and gain confidence in their ability to produce tasty, healthy and hygienic meals. Demonstrate new cooking techniques without fire and helping their procreator in the task. Fascinating way of serving has been taught by professionals.
Yoga
Yoga builds the mental and physical aspect of a child. It boosts up the concentration of a child. Yoga is the most favorable method to connect to the nature and balancing the mind- body connection. It helps in coping with hard times of the life and pressure of schools, friends, family and other aspects of life. Through yoga ,one can vanish his/her problems. We have a trained instructors and trainers for providing apt training to our precious students which has really helped them to develop positive and balanced mindset.
Dramatics
“The world is a stage and men & women are merely players.” Drama is an art form, a practical activity and an intellectual discipline highly accessible to young people. In education, it is mode of learning that challenges students to make meaning of their world. It gives the students to explore, shape and symbolically represent ideas and feelings and their consequences. To have their manifold persona, Dramatic club has been organizing many plays and skits such as Julius Caesar, Christmas Carol, Jai Baba Felunath, Blue Diamond, Bishop’s Candlestick, Aadhe- Adhure. The selected dramas also become a part of British Council project.
Interact
The motto- ‘Service Above Self’ has been personified by the club’s impeccable performance, in various fields like Polio Awareness Camp, Help Age India, Blood Donation Camp, Cleanliness, Tree Plantation, Drive etc. They help young students to connect with community leaders, develop leadership skills and to become responsible citizen of the country.
Handicraft
Handicrafts are a unique expression and represent a culture, tradition and heritage of a society. The club aims at providing a platform to showcase the creative side of the kids.
It helps the students in understanding of the materials that surround us for economical, cultural and environmental purposes.
Public Speaking
For ethical development, leadership skills, confidence building and personality development, the club is under the able guidance of expert faculty.
